Design Process
I assume that I'm going to open my own onigiri cafe YOKO and create a website for this cafe. “YOKO” is named after my grandma’s name.
Onigiri is a rice ball that popular in Japan as portable and convenient food. Nowadays, it’s popular overseas.
Website Features

The theme color is inspired by the scene of eating salmon onigiri under the clear sky.

Highlight “Contact” as a CTA button and stick the navigation bar on the top

Put a vertical line to let users scroll down to the last section
Create the logo in Photoshop
Store Logo
I created the store logo in Photoshop. I pretended the "O" shape as an onigiri and then put a rectangle shape for seaweed for the first one. For the second "O", I put a red dot for Ume ( salted plum). Additionally, I added "YOKO" in Japanese at the bottom.
